Our cottages in Gaspé

Stay in one of our eight waterfront cottages, each thoughtfully designed with a similar layout. In Le Mikmak, you'll enjoy a private hot tub, while Le Wigwam also features a sauna. The cottages face south and southeast, meaning they are filled with natural light, while the surrounding trees create a true sense of privacy. Each cottage accommodates up to six guests and is fully equipped for a comfortable stay—perfect for rest, relaxation, and quality time. We look forward to welcoming you.

Le Wigwam (with a private barrel sauna)

South-facing
Features: Thoughtfully designed to stand apart, Le Wigwam includes a main-floor bedroom for easy accessibility, along with a second bedroom in the loft, accommodating up to six guests. As the last cottage at the end of the road, it offers beautiful views of the Douglastown mountains, along with a covered balcony for rainy days. The barrel sauna is the perfect spot to relax after a refreshing cold shower or, in winter, a rejuvenating snow bath.

Le Mikmak (same layout as cottages 1–7 but with private hot tub and gas fireplace)

Southeast-facing Features: Located at the very tip of the point, Le Mikmak is the cottage set closest to the water. It’s the only cottage with a private hot tub and offers a stunning spot to watch the sunrise, both in summer and winter. This cottage shares the same layout as L’Églantier, Tamarak, Le Ruisseau, L’Iris, Le Sous-bois, and L’Éki, but also features a hot tub.

Beaches ⛱
Just three minutes from the cottages, Haldimand Beach is our favourite spot for swimming. Think salt water, waves, and miles of fine sand. The beach also has a supervised area.
⛱ Boom Defense Beach
Boom Defence Beach is located just four kilometres from the cottages. A two-kilometre sandspit that stretches out into Gaspé Bay, it offers calm, warm waters on the sheltered side, and a shoreline more exposed to the waves on the outer side. It’s a wonderful spot for walking, kiteboarding, and enjoying a peaceful swim. Fun fact: It was once a popular nudist beach.
⛱ Penouille and Cap-aux-Os beaches
At the entrance to Forillon National Park: two beautiful sandy beaches, shallow and deeper swimming areas, and a scenic train ride. A must-see!
The beach in front of the cottages ⛱
The beach in front of the cottages is beautiful and ideal for walks and relaxing, though it’s not our favourite spot for swimming. The water is shallow, with saltwater at high tide and freshwater at low tide, and the seabed can be a bit soft. That said, the water is very clean, and the shallow depth makes it a safe and enjoyable spot for children.
River swimming ⛱
Beaches can be found all along our three beautiful salmon rivers—hundreds of unique spots with pools of all shapes and sizes. Many are perfect for swimming, including Black Hole on the St. John River and the Emerald River.

Between you and us… doesn’t this look like an incredible experience?
