Our cottages
We offer eight cottages with similar layouts, all designed to accommodate up to six guests (with a maximum of four adults). Le Mikmak includes a private hot tub and gas fireplace, while Le Wigwam offers a main-floor bedroom, a loft bedroom, a private sauna, and a gas fireplace.
L'Églantier
Located right on the water and facing southeast, L'Églantier offers stunning views of Douglastown and the Saint-Jean River estuary. The property is lined with wild roses and has a tiny stream on the left. You can often spot migratory birds from the path that leads to the other cottages.
The most secluded of all our cottages, it features two bedrooms upstairs—one with a queen bed, and the other with a double bed and two bunk beds. It can accommodate up to six guests, with a maximum of four adults.The surrounding wild rose is also known for its health benefits, helping support the immune system and providing dried rose hips for refreshing herbal teas.

Le Tamarak
Surrounded by tamarack trees, Le Tamarak sits right on the water and faces southeast. If you follow the path across the bridge, you'll find a hammock hanging in the mossy forest. But the best part about this cottage? The breathtaking view of the Haldimand estuary.
This cottage features two bedrooms—one with a queen bed, and the other with a double bed and two bunk beds. It can accommodate up to six guests, with a maximum of four adults. The cottage’s name reflects its distinctive character. Built from tamarack, a remarkably resilient wood, it stands strong year-round—while the trees themselves shed their needles each winter, adding a subtle seasonal charm.

Le Ruisseau—a name that brings to mind peaceful moments by the water—enjoys a southeast-facing setting with exceptional views of the iconic iron bridge at Haldimand Beach, one of Quebec’s most beautiful beaches. A picturesque path leads down to the shoreline, where a gentle stream meets the changing tides, creating a unique ecosystem. At high tide, the water becomes brackish; at low tide, it turns fresh—offering an ever‑changing and memorable experience.

L'Iris
L'Iris is our easternmost cottage—perfect for catching the sunrise. Set right on the water, it offers breathtaking views of the barachois and Haldimand Beach, a 3‑km stretch of fine sand ideal for swimming, with a supervised area during the high season. In summer, the front of the cottage is beautifully framed by blue flag irises in full bloom. This striking flower, the official floral emblem of Quebec, adds both colour and charm while attracting bees to its vibrant blossoms.

Le Sous-bois
Le Sous‑Bois faces south and is set in a lightly wooded area—perfect for a hammock. Sheltered from the sea breeze, it’s an ideal spot for quiet moments and birdwatching, especially during the migratory season. Out front, a small rocky beach offers lovely views of the Douglastown mountains—the highest in the area and part of the Appalachian range, including Mount Puddingstone (650 m).

L'Éki
L’Éki, with its southern exposure, takes its name from the Basque word for ‘sunrise’—a nod to the Basque fishers who travelled these coasts long before Jacques Cartier, perhaps keeping their discoveries to themselves. This sun‑filled cottage is set between beautiful wooded areas, with open space out front and stunning views of the Appalachian range. It’s the second‑to‑last cottage along the road.

Le Mikmak
Le Mikmak is set right at the water’s edge and features a private hot tub. Located at the tip of the point, it offers wide-open views of the estuary. Whether you’re enjoying a morning coffee on the deck or unwinding in the hot tub, in summer or winter, the light and scenery are always changing. Sunrises here are especially beautiful, and you can often spot flocks of geese gathering along the shoreline before their migration.

Le Mikmak is the only cottage with both a hot tub and a gas fireplace.
Le Wigwam
Le Wigwam takes its name from a traditional Indigenous dwelling once used by the Mi’kmaq. Facing south, the cottage includes a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor for easier access for guests with mobility needs (though it has not been adapted to meet accessibility standards), along with a second bedroom in the loft, accommodating up to six guests. As the last cottage at the end of the road, it offers beautiful views of the Douglastown mountains, along with a covered porch for rainy days.
It also features a private sauna—perfect for warming up before a refreshing outdoor shower in summer, or a brisk dip in the snow in winter.
